Rice Picker Entertainment

So I know I haven’t done a lot with Rice Picker Entertainment, but let me tell you there are A LOT of projects I’m trying to work on.  Here’s a list of upcoming projects that should be coming out in the near future.

- Suck Her Punch Behind the Scenes: Back in May, Justin and I got the opportunity to help my friend with his short fan video to the movie Sucker Punch.  My friend was the one who helped me create the trailer to an ASU theater production, In the Penal Colony.  After watching the movie, he got this bright idea to recreate a shorter version of the action of Sucker Punch, everything on blue screen, but bumping up the guns and sexiness.  Justin was hired to help create fight choreography and I got the privilege to create the behind the scenes footage.  Let me tell you, this movie is gonna make every little boy’s dream come true.  The video is sexy, but in a classy way.  The video and my behind the scenes footage should come out within September.

- Words I Never Said: I’ve been working on trying to get this project out for a few months now, but I haven’t found the time.  Partly because I’m busy but also because I’m waiting for the right moment to produce it.  This is actually a script that RPE’s co-founder, Josef, developed.

- “Good Morning” MV: I think I posted something about this but if you don’t know, this is a song from the movie musical Singin’ in the Rain.  It’s a wonderful piece and stars some of the biggest actors of the time.  As you can tell the movie is set and produced back in the 1950s.  My friend Alyssa brought the idea of creating a modern version of the song and video.  We set everything up and were ready to shoot.  Unfortunately we could not pull a cast together.  It was probably too early to do this in the first place, but we haven’t dropped the idea yet.  Right now we’ll take a break from this idea and start working in producing a cover of the song first.

- Inside the Mind (working title): This is script that I’ve been working on for a month now.  I have the bulk of it completed, but there may be a few more revisions before the script goes into production.  I’ll give the basic concept of what the video is about.  When we find ourselves in a “what should I do” situation, we start to think and rationalize.  I thought it would be cool if there was a person who was in this situation and the audience watches what is going on in his head.  So in other words, his thoughts come to life; think of it as the angel and devil that you see on a person’s shoulders in cartoons.
