Hello there, sit back and check out what has been going on with Rice Picker Entertainment |
It’s hard to get started with your film career. I have had a lot of doubts and low points in my growing career, but I still strive for the chance of a successful career. I don’t just mean Hollywood success, I’m talking about a stable way to use my skills as a filmmaker in any line of work. The best motivation that’s been keeping me going is to start off small and dream big. We’re all not that lucky and won’t hit it big without doing some smaller work. My dad always told me that you need to climb your way up to the top (or something like that…), so that’s what I’m doing. Starting small can range from unpaid, volunteer work for an organization like editing footage or being a historian, to freelance paid work like a temporary cameraman or editor in the newsroom. Whatever it is, you can build connections through these small jobs. That’s the key thing about the film industry, CONNECTIONS. This doesn’t apply to only film people, but to any job or dream that you may have.
